Η 23η Απριλίου είναι η μέρα της γερμανικής μπύρας. Κάποτε η οικιακή ζυθοποιία ήταν κυρίως σε γυναικεία χέρια. Και σήμερα όμως οι μισές ζυθοποιίες διευθύνονται από γυναίκες.
Μια νέα έκδοση της "Party Tricks", προς τιμήν του θρυλικού συγκροτήματος των Cheap Trick, κυκλοφορεί η AleSmith Brewing Co.
Οι ζυθοποιοί αρχίσουν να "ερωτεύονται" γενετικά τροποποιημένα στελέχη ζύμης που τους βοηθούν να εισάγουν νέα γεύση στις μπύρες τους, όπως ανανά και γκουάβα.
